Jeffrey Landstrom (Jeff@mydxlife.com)

To loosely quote a friend “we are at a tipping point in history between what technology can do for us, and a sociopolitical shift in mindset regarding cannabis.”  With the recent legalization of marijuana for recreational use in Colorado and Washington, and over 20 other states having already legalized the plant for medical use, many of us like to speculate what the future holds for Cannabis.

As this industry begins it maturation, how will it all work? How will cannabis be tested to insure safety and potency?  How will law enforcement deal with the inevitable smoking and driving situations? How will they test for impairment?  How will patients ensure they are getting the right medicines to alleviate their pain?

Here at CDx Life we’ve asked ourselves the same questions. These questions are all ultimately part of the inspiration that led to us creating the first ever pocket-sized testing lab that will help this emerging industry transition into the mainstream – the MyDx Analyzer.

At this point, I would like to stress that MyDx was not invented solely for the cannabis industry. This device will also be able to help you identify the presence of pesticides in the food you eat,  chemicals in the water you drink, and pollutants in the air you breathe. We chose to deliver our first sensor for MyDx to the cannabis world however because it needs a friend in science and technology more than any other industry today.

At CDx life we recognize that in order for Cannabis to make a successful transition out of the stigmatic world in which it currently resides, significant reform from seed to sale (and beyond) will be needed. In the first several instillations of this blog, we will be examining how Manufacturers, Distributors, Consumers & Regulators have historically interacted with cannabis, and how they might in the future with the help of MyDx.

So share us with your friends and family and lets the get discussion going.

In the meantime, please visit our campaign Here to learn more.
