To date, the sensors that will be compatible with the MyDx Platform that are currently being developed with our esteemed collaborators can do the following:
• Breath based detection of active pulmonary tuberculosis in the field with high sensitivity and specificity with real patients.
• Toxic industrial chemical identification using a handheld detector.
• Readily detect representative organophosphates, the functional group associated with certain pesticides, at parts per million levels.
• Readily distinguish simulated samples of cannabis strains.
• Quantitatively measure simulated cannabinoids samples, including THC and CBD.
• Quantitatively measure certain compounds in cannabis such as the terpenoid Myrcene.
• Vaporize and Analyze certain pesticides such as 2,4-D.
• Detect carbon monoxide (CO), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxide (NO), and ozone (O3) to measure the Air Quality Index.
